Lots of w222 have condensation in them, and they do tend to dissipate when driven etc, if its exccessive then I would walk away, as you say.

Speaking of local Indy's you can't be far from the OP

Yes they are not. They are One of the indys in my area that I had shortlisted based on my search through the forums.

Just a quick update. The dealer has come back and said they are changing both the headlights but now needs 5 days to do it.

Also they are doing the B service as it's due.

They are also getting an interior expert to look at the seat and seatbelt on the drivers side from a cosmetic perspective.

Getting impatient now.. but I guess the car is worth the wait..

Headlight is good news

Make sure you check what needs doing on the portal and compare it to what they do on the "receipt"

The portal did not work for my car and kept saying to call for a quote.

Not sure if I can do something else.

Maybe because it is in a dealer, possibly an indy could help

Corrected that for you ;)
Lol. Very encouraging...

I am hoping it will be on par or lesser than a W12 that I had in the past....

Hi all,

The wait continues as Mercedes need 5 days to replace the headlights.

Also noticed the car has Dunlios in front and conti's in the rear. Trying to find Michelins and cant find the right size

The front size 245/45/R19 only available in P4 and rear size 275/40/R19 in P4s.

Not sure if I want to do that. But given the car as it is today has different brands, maybe I can different Michelins front and back..

Any thoughts and suggestions guys ?

To be honest Michelin does come up with recommendations of Pilot Sport 3. But that's an old tyre and not many have that in stock and not sure if I wnat a tyre that old in design.

I'm not sure I would dismiss the PS3 just for being an old design. We have Pilot Sport 2 on the 911 Turbo and they have been very satisfying to drive on.
Having said that, I thought they are sports car tyres rather than for luxurious saloons.

I would wait until they wear out, both are quality tyres, the Dunlop will be the quieter and better riding tyre.
