Christine is my ever faithful 1999 W202 C250 Turbodiesel Classic. We have been together for 5ish years, she has never, not ever let me down. Weve done around 40,000 miles together, although I'm not her first keeper, in total she's up to 125k. Am I the only one that feels a strange kind of bond between man and machine, that makes them almost human? Has anyone else got a name for theirs?

I've named mine Katie (after her number plate), Malcolm (after the previous owner - a friend who passed away) and "the bus" (7 seater e class). I've almost always named my cars - something dad and grandad both did too.
