Yesterday I dicided I'd paint the front garden fence. Father in law said here use this spray bottle you'll have it done in half hour. So I plodded on getting the job done quickly, it was fair windy aswell. This morning I went to the car to go fuel up when I noticed speckles on the bonnet **** me after closer inspection the whole car is covered in tiny brown speckles. Luckily the paint was water based and does come off. But I'm not happy and want to give the car a full over haul. Do you know any products that will get the paint off quickly and easily. I was thinking auto glym tar remover? Time to drown my sorrows in a can of beer!!!!

You could try clay bar or clay mit , small amount of white spirit or meths on a cloth ? You are not the first to do this either buddy

yrs ago i was roller painting the house exterior,i moved the car to the far end of the drive. there were still specs of paint all over it the next day ,took me 2 days to polish it all off. since then i park car in my back paddock if i paint the exterior.

The last time I did this, and there have been a few, I just went over it all with a clay bar which brought it all off. Mine was a combination of solvent based paint and some nasty underbody sealant as well.

Clay bar should take it off easily enough.

Been there. Fortunately it was water soluble fence paint and washed off relatively easily with washing up liquid & water. (I know, I know, but I was young and foolish)

Some years ago I used a spry to creosote the fence in the back garden. It was a breezy day and I looked like the Jolly Green Giant when I had finished Never again would I use a spray in the outdoors !!

I have got most of it off. The cars going to have to wait untill the weekend to get a good clean. It's coming off easy enough with warm water thank God. I might get a clay bar at the weekend from halfrauds

Know how you feel, my neighbour sprayed his fence and left my black Jag covered in brown spec's. He totally denied even painting his fence, even though the fence had just been painted!!

There was a few other cars in the area which I checked and couldn't see anything on them.

Try a clay mit instead of clay bar, it’ll make the job so much quicker
