Recently picked up my new 13 plate c250 sport with only 57k in the clock. After 3 days of use EML has come on and it hesitating and doesn’t let me past 3k revs?

Had a mechanic friend scan it and it’s thrown up fault code P0237. I have already tried another engine control module and still no change. And from a good visual can’t see a split pipe anywhere?

Anyone have any faults on this or anything I might have missed?

You have reported P0327 in your thread title and P0237 in your post body, which is it?

P0327 Knock/Combustion Vibration Sensor, 1 Circuit Low Bank 1 or Single Sensor
P0237 Turbocharger/Supercharger Boost Sensor A, Circuit Low

Split pipes can be very hard to see as the split closes after boost is removed. Check again paying particular attention to areas near bends.

After further inspection it’s still not resolved. Looked tirelessly and I cannot find a leak. I don’t think it can be a leak as I’ve low boost. The car is so sluggish to drive! It must surely be something to do with the engine management system!

I’ve also changed the ECM which made no difference.

Scan it on Star and look at the live values. Simply randomly changing parts gets very expensive very quickly.
Test, don't guess.

That was going to be my next port of call! I have contacted a couple of mobile guys who are Mb specialists and I’m waiting for them to reply. You have essentially answered my query though as to measuring with live values that should hopefully point me in the right direction I guess??

whilst hoses are often the cause of lost boost i have had cracks in the underside of inlet manifolds before and such a racket from the motor i could not hear it , i found it by feeling around under the manifold whilst an assistant booted the motor with trans loaded and brake on, mighty uncomfortable it was too n hot. no way to see crack open up under load.

Have you actually done a charge air pressure test or smoke tested the system to check for leaks?

If no obvious leaks from the pipe work then the next culprit is a snapped inlet manifold bolt. Usually cylinder 2 where you can’t see it....without doing a smoke test..!

Hi Steve, no I haven’t mate. I’m hoping to have the car scanned by a star diagnostic specialist this weekend with hope that it will be diagnosed.

I will look into the above that you mentioned tho.

So it turned out to be a faulty boost sensor. Cheap fix happy days. And if anyone is looking for decent specialist I’d deffo recommend Merctech.
