Update

Hi all! Pending completion of documentation, we will be re-locating to a larger premises, a few miles down the road in Rochester.

Only about 18 minutes from the current unit, we will have nearly 4 times the size and will start expanding the tuning side with a chassis dynamometer and will start fitting and balancing tyres in house.

It will also allow us to provide a waiting room with facilities and give us the space to start doing more engineering, and the equipment that goes with it.

Watch this space for exciting news!

Great idea, once we are all setup I will get a group dyno day setup, sounds like a good day out.

I have managed to finish the turbo dieselbike project though

Amusing for me, my local indie was 8-10 miles away in Ashford but end of last year moved to a much larger unit at the bottom of our village 1 mile away. He went from a unit where he had 1 lift and room for 2-3 other cars to a unit where he has 3 lifts, room inside for probably 6-9 other cars and a secure parking area for another dozen - as well as gaining a reception/waiting office on the front. He's busier than ever, and I can see him having to employ more than the 3-4 mechanics he currently has, so hope you have the same result from moving to larger and better facilities!

Hehe its funny. Similar situation.

I have space for one car, on the ramp, and then the office at the back, that's it at the mo so pretty crampt pretty quickly.

Finding commercial space that allows garages is a nightmare, I have been looking for 6 months.

The only caveat at the new place is there is only parking for 2 cars outside, but I am allowed to park more if I ask permission. There is space in the yard for 20+ cars, and we are the only unit bar a storage unit.
