Hi yeah quads are too much on a non amg

We have tuned many of these and worked on them from headgaskets to turbo.

As we custom tune we can get more hp or tailor to your spec.

They make 500nm out of factory.
Output does vary per car when we ran the car was down on hp and torque. Its the 204ps with 500nm version. We can remap TCU and Engine ECU to get over torque limitations on some models. We have seen very good torque gains upto and +-100nm.
Nothing a daignostic wouldn't fix. Twin turbo charged vacuum based boost etc...

Sometimes wonder if those figures are engine out test .

Realistic conservative dynos don't see those factory figures .

I see the remapped HP is made earlier @ 3106 rpm ? ****** pointless when they rev to 4600 rpm , never understand why Mercedes allowed an early bi-turbo torque monster to rev like that .

What else does your gearbox mapping offer ?

They reduce torque at low revs out of factory, ref gearbox we can cater to what you need i.e shift times torque level. Does vary per vehicle. We do support some but not all gearboxes.
All bosch and turbo systems now small turbo feeds the big turbo its like they work together but can produce hp at late rpm which Is good for faster speeds.

That's strange because I see some stock graphs that confirm the factory 1600-1800 rpm peak and some are later peaking at around 2200-2400 for the C250 CDI .

You mention "stock graphs," I have a 2014 GLK 250 that I recently did a DPF delete and remap on. I've got a question about the torque after the remap in the 1200-1800 RPM range. I made the mistake of not doing a dyno run before the remap and I'm going to have it on a dyno next week to see what the engine is actually doing. Can you supply me with or point me to a source of what a stock graph looks like for the GLK 250 engine so I can do a general comparison after the dyno run. I'm in Florida and my ECU tuner is in Canada (he's more than willing to make need adjustments to the ECU) but I'm trying to establish where the torque actually is compared to a stock engine as not to speculate and rely on how I "feel" the engine is doing. Thanks

If you are doing remote flashing, why not flash to stock, dyno, then flash back?

Not as simple as that as Watchinggoodman has a dpf delete and the stock map will put it into limp mode as the dpf pressure sensor will be reporting back to the ecu with the ecu looking for values that just aren't there anymore.

Gazwould thanks for the link and Tim thanks for going to the trouble to look.
I put a Buzzken delete pipe on the car that eliminated everything from the CAT back and I have a pair of Megan Racing muffler at the rear of the system. The theory is the CATs don't soot up like the DPF does and leaving the CAT controls the stink. The remapping removed DPF, ERG, SAC, and AdBlue plus the stage 1 tweak. I have been impressed with the fact that I have no smoke at all and the little bit of odor is not a diesel smell. The car definitely has more power and the only noise is the exhaust being a little bit deeper.

The issue has to do with my torque after the remap. When I'm accelerating normally and approach 1500 RPMs in 5th, 6th, and 7th gear it feels like I'm headed up an incline. Instead of just being able to continue to gradually add throttle if feels like I either need to get down on it or downshift manually. In other words instead of having the torque to just continue to pull through 1400-1600 RPMs I have to either add a lot more fuel or downshift to get it over 1800 RPMs. It seems to me that 1200-1500 RPMs should be when its pulling the strongest. 700 to 1000 RPMs is strong and 3000 to 5000 is strong but lets face it real world driving is between 1200 -2000 for this engine.

I want to get it on a dyno next week an determine whether my expectations are unrealistic, or I'm imaging things or if indeed the torque curves has been shifted too high. There's a good shop in Orlando that will do 3 AWD pulls for $75. hence the request for the stock graphs to compare to. Thanks again for your help. Bruce

Doesn't sound right , the dyno graph will reveal all , maybe an unexpected dip around 1500rpm , shouldn't it start to run out of breath after 4000rpm rather than feel strong to 5000 ?

Where's the limiter , shouldn't it be around 4600 ?

When in Economy or Comfort mode what's the lowest rpm it likes to change up ?

Based on your description, the vac adjustment of the turbos may have been tweaked, or the smaller turbo is being pushed too far.

I'm not sure what you mean by Eco or Comfort mode. Are you referring to whether I'm using the paddle shifters or not? If so are you asking about shift points in Eco mode since the remap ... which is actually a great question, I haven't thought of checking that. I just assumed it would be unchanged. I'm currently in India teaching but I'll call my wife and ask her to tell me where its shifting. I hate the way Mercedes has the Eco mode set up. I have a 03 Infinite G35 sedan that allow you to be either in manual or auto mode and its great. With the GLK of course it reverts to Eco when it decides you've been in manual too long for its liking. I don't know if I ever recall getting into the rev limiter at 4600 RPM even before the remap. I don't often push it to 5000 RPMs with the paddles but I have before and after the remap and can't say that I've ever tripped tripped the limiter. With the G35 the limiter sounds like a machine gun, with my JCW Cooper the engine would just turn off at the limit and back on below - I prefer hearing the limiter. I guess I would assume the GLK would be like the Cooper since its a BMW but have never felt the engine do anything at 46 or 5K.
I'll get back with you on where its currently shifting. But I'm glad to hear that the dyno run should show me what's taking place.
