Mid thirties is about the point where everything gets just a bit too warm for roof down. At 40 it's unbearable!

It’s fine when you’re moving it’s when you’re parked you notice you’re roasting.

Driving top down in a car with no AC from Los Angeles to Las Vegas was testing... mad dogs and Blobcat’s...:D

Did Alice Springs to Kings Canyon in Aus in early January in a Ute with no Aircon.
Temperatures hit 46 degrees. Driving with the window down was like sitting in a blast furnace. Window up was like sitting in a Sauna. Seriously unpleasant.

The 500 presents us with the EML :(
Why are these 2 SL's competing against each other!

Attention seeking jealousy. Just like our dogs.
If I play with one dog the other comes over and pushes it out the way.

I have children who do the same. The cats are too busy being Uber-cool to behave in such a fashion ;)

A Garfield clone lives in our Cul de Sac, caught him a few months back doing a handstand with his back paws on the front bumper (fender for American readers)of my newly cleaned SL ****ing up it!!! I was in shock, had spent previous days fussing the ****** thing (cat not car) thinking it was cute

Since then caught it 3 times walking through our open front door, I now want to purchase a BB gun but wife still thinks he is cute

Thinking about it out SLs are doing much the same. I was using the 230 quite a bit toll recently when the 129 came home. Stopped using the 230 and it immediately developed a flat rear tyre. Then because I didn't pump it up (I need new) it decided to drop the right front corner to the ground. I start the 230 to get the suspension pressure up and next day the 129 throws an ASR failure light!
They're just like children or jealous women!

Bit of a run, only got a little damp with the top down. Bright sun again now so going out again :D

Luggage for 3 weeks (although with this lot I could stay away indefinitely)

1 x 61ltr, 2 x 44ltr, laptop bag and bag of fruit / snacks. I’ve also 3 jackets and some small tools in the boot. All fits under the boot separator so “taps arf”

Plenty of space in an R171 :)

Picked up 10ltrs Adblue (£2!)
Left it loose in the boot (sealed container!). Boot carpet soaked and white crystals forming, not to mention the musty aroma...

Any suggestions on boot cleaning?:coffee::(

This weather... boot carpet out, jet wash (not too close), spray with carpet/interior shampoo, jet wash rinse, then hose rinse, leave to dry. Whilst it's drying, give bare metal boot bits a good wipe down with a weak car shampoo solution.

IMG_20190708_231005.jpg While we wait for the sensor thingymebob to arrive I thought it be a good opportunity to deal with this rusty o/s rear wheel arch. Really would like to drop the bumper cover down to get access to the bottom of the arch, but for the life of me can't remember how to do it
Just got the inner arch off, oh, now it's gone midnight
