LeClerc, Norris, Verstappen, Gasly seem to be the hot shoes for the next few years.
Le Clerc is very impressive, seems quite smooth and makes some great overtaking moves . C350Carl makes a good point above re wonder if he may become the Ferrari No.1

A really good race (if you ignore Mercedes). I do wonder what Vettel was thinking. Is he past his sell by perhaps?
Vettel is a done deal. He is looking like a poor rookie in a good car. I can't see where his next race win might be coming from, especially when his team mate is so obviously outperforming him.

It must be the beginning of the end for Vettel, the performance of LeClerc must be driving him insane?

They will bin him off in favour of Mick Schumacher and have LeClerc as team leader

Regarding the re-fuelling, it may not be as simple as it seems. Albon made 1 pit stop but was originally on a 2 stop strategy. Why? Because his car was 'Live' for most of the race and the mechanics could not perform a pit stop safely without a big risk of electrocuting themselves. Refuelling with the risk of high voltage would definitely be a no no.

As for Seb, I watched Ted's Notebook and he said Ferrari previously had downforce issues which were recently corrected. However, this has made the back end slightly unstable which does not suit Seb's style of driving, but it does LeClerc's. There is an upgrade coming to hopefully resolve this but as said is it time they gave LeClerc at least equal status? Seb most likely has a no.1 status as he did with Kimi but if you are being out-performed continuously then maybe Ferrari need to make a decision.

Did anyone else predict that Vettel would take out whoever tried to overtake him? I did.

Ferrari decision?
They'll probably fit a speed limiter to LeClerc's car to make Seb look good again!

Did they do a repair or, write it off, for being to close to the sidewall?

I hope they decided to repair as it drives me around the twist when I see a good tyre (particularly a good Shark) being tossed in the bin.

They will undoubtedly want to replace.
Personally I'd do a self repair. Even though they aren't meant to permanent I've not had a problem with the ones I've done.

Whew! Those tyres ain't cheap, it means that the tyre isn't wasted, as there was a good bit of tread left on it. ;) Best bit of news, lol. :D

Well he had had a good day today, considering the chaos.
