turbo or supercharged clk 200

hi guys i have 2000 reg clk 200 2.0ltr auto im looking to turbo or supercharge. would anyone know if they have oil jets for piston cooling and any more info would be appreciated. cheers

You’d be better off just buying a 230k in the first place, as far as I know they don’t have oil jets for piston cooling but happy to find out otherwise.

You’d be better off just buying a 230k in the first place, as far as I know they don’t have oil jets for piston cooling but happy to find out otherwise.
i love the car and like making things different but done properly. im trying to find a way of tuning her without doing a full engine swap, i could drop a om606 in but would like to keep the original engine if possible.

I'm with V6Matty on this one - far better to just buy a w208 4-pot with a Kompressor already fitted. Or better still get a 320..... Lots of them about! And you could even go for a Convertible at the same time.
I would say fitting a Kompressor to your current engine could be fraught with issues.

as ive said i was hoping to just tune the standard engine and looking for any tips or info that might help, but if im gunna do a engine swap i know i can push 500-600 bhp out of a om606 and she will bolt straight in. im not prepared to change the car as i want to keep it and tune her up and modify it.

just unsure of the feasibility with the clk 200, we have just dropped om605 in a w202 pushing 800bhp nice engine conversion

The original engine wasn’t made for tuning like the 606, that said even that suffers with cooling issues,

I think the OP is looking to do a much bigger turbo/supercharger than was standard, if it’s like the 202 he has then I’d suspect a very large jump in the figures,
Personally I think it’s going to end up with melted pistons but I guess with the right level of cooling he could pull it off.

this is why i was asking about the oil jets, some engines come standard with them already there, they provide extra cylinder cooling to prevent liquid piston syndrome

The M111 definitely does not have oil spray on the pistons.

The kompressor engine have a oil nozzle for the pistons.

I have used the m111 with turbo and kompressor in my w201's
Turbo in the evo1 and kompressor in my daily driver.
352hk/525nm @1.27bar and 223hk/345nm @ 0.61bar.
