A very nice Fire Opal Red W204 C200 CDI in today, for a Stage 1 re-map. Gains of 70BHP and 122NM whilst saving 5-8% fuel on a longer run. Win win!

In very good condition as well, being a late 14 plate, just before the 205 cut off.



Frankie the dog, was very impressed.

Shame about the issues some people have with Fire Opal Red because it is a great colour. :)

I agree. I really wanted my C63 in red, but all the ones I looked at had micro blistering :(

I agree. I really wanted my C63 in red, but all the ones I looked at had micro blistering :(
The SLK 55 that was there on Sunday had a great respray and looked very nice

That's true, I have heard that the microblistering comes back but haven't confirmed it first hand....

I’ve seen a few good resprays but none long term either

Yes they are significantly so! Big difference as well. Not too peaky which is nice, even though single turbo. The older CDI's get a bit "spikey" in their torque delivery when overtuned.
