Replaced the washer pump, on the 2002 w203 C270cdi, for the front windscreen. Not a difficult or messy job. Tested the cable before ordering the Meyle pump (tested fine), pump was £10ish on fleabay, replaced the plastic rivets, although they came out fine without breaking or damage. 20min job

I just replaced the hood emblem on my ride. I noticed it missing when I went to the mall a few weeks ago. My buddy is an MB tech so he installed it for me

Made a stay-stick to hold the Roof whilst I cleaned and treated all the Rubbers to some stuff I got from Germany called Gummi Pflege Stift. I also lubed all the required Hinges and Locking Mechanisms. Did the Door and Boot Rubbers whilst I was at it.

I have to say the Delivery was ultra fast considering I ordered it yesterday afternoon and it pitched up this morning on a Free Delivery!

It's quite easy to use as it comes in a applicator similar to those Liquid Shoe Polishes with the Sponge on the end that is the perfect width for the Rubbers.... Apparently according to "those in the know", it's just as good as the fancy Krytox but a quarter of the price! And you get far more!!

I use the same, not had an issue with the roof closing on me whilst I apply it.

SLs depressurise the system if it doesn't complete in a set time. The roof will then act under gravity....

That’s what you get with a big heavy roof. The lightweight SLK doesn’t suffer as badly :D:p

I just made one as a precautionary measure - a 16" length of 1" square wood. After I had stopped the Roof operation, (B Pillar vertical) I removed the key and just pushed the Roof forward slightly so it rested on the Rod between the front of the Roof and the top of the Screen. Whether it needed it or not I'm not sure as I just fully opened the Roof afterwards.
Then when I was finished, about 30 minutes later, I just opened the Roof completely holding the piece of wood so it didn't fall and hit me in the head...lol.

NB. I too was told that after about 20 minutes the System releases the Pressure and the Roof will fall under Gravity....

Been a little while since I last posted but not a massive amount has changed. This weekend though I’ve replaced the thermostat and got a friend to gimmie a lil diagnostic scan that revealed the crankshaft and O2 sensors need changing = more fun haha.

Exciting times ahead though as my coilovers will arrive mid week!

Also did a cheeky little mod today. Say hello to my ‘drift charm’ Kim Jong Un haha.
