I noticed yesterday that the car was leaning ever so slightly to the NS and decided to check between that side and the OSF suspension. There is an inch difference between the two. Meaning the NSF is lower and closer to the wheel than the OSF.
What can I do as a pre mot check on this?
I've also got a flat tyre NSR, but that should be no problem.

You’ll have a broken spring

As above. Unfortunately too common. (I had 3 break in 10years/ 120,000miles in my ownership of a W203)

That's what I'm suspecting.

If you can jack the car up on that corner and support it , the Spring will probably have broken at one of the ends .
It can be hard to spot but there will probably be a sharp end where it has broken

Sorry. Side question. What fuse number controls the number plate lights on my S203?

If you have a fuse board at the end of the drivers dash , pop the cover off , there should be a folded fuse chart in there . Or more info in your car glovebox manual

No. No fuse chart in drivers dash. You reckon there is a fuse number chart in the glovebox manual? Standby.

Yep. Okay. Finally found the full chart. It was in my drivers wallet with the user manual et al. Will be putting it back where it Should be stored, in the drivers side fuse box.
However it now tells me that the license plate bulbs have an electronic fuel that cannot be replaced by a DIY'er.
Gggrrrrrrrr
