E250 estate cdi sport 2.1l
Hi just wondered if anyone had any advise I am looking at buying a 2008 c220 cdi sport it is a c63 replica including interior seats aswell as outside. looks great but it has got 181000 miles on the clock apparently it has a really good service history.
he is asking about £5500 for it .
I just wondered whether anyone could give me some advise on whether it is to higher mileage for that engine or is it priced about right .
Any advice would be great thanks

Miles wouldn’t worry me provided as said it has a faultless service history , especially regular oil changes.
What would concern me is the replica body and interior , chances are the seller thinks they’re worth something when they’re not- about 1.5k strong on price accordingly
If you can live with the mocking you will surely receive for the AMGing , and the history is good then 4K might be about right...

Agreed far too expensive look for something in sport trim <100k miles and it will serve you well if well serviced

Interestingly about 20 years ago I bought a second hand BMW 318i Coupe from the original buyer, full service history with about 40K on the clock.
When he bought it new he had every possible extra to make it look like a M3. Wheels, seats, steering wheel, gear lever, & mirrors. He wanted the 1800cc engine as it was a tax advantage at the time.
I paid about £500 over the going rate, but when I sold it I had a I had a massive response, it sold well above the going rate.
But that was a BMW in 1998, not sure about a MB with very high millage.

R172 250CDI Gone..!, R129 SL500 Gone...
I thought modified cars tended to sell for much less than a standard car - mainly because big spoilers, go faster stripes, fat wheels etc., means the car has been ragged (proper performance cars have nothing to prove). I wonder what the insurance companies think of replica's? Surely you have made it more attractive to steal / vandalise hence higher premiums...?

A C220 estate on 19" wheels - take out dental insurance as well as motor, as you'll soon need all your fillings (and possibly teeth) replaced! Overpriced as well - mine has about 110k miles and I suspect I'd be offered less than he's asking (not brave enough to look, and intend keeping the car for many more years anyway!).

I Agree, its now up to 6k! Its 2K too expensive. Otherwise, treat is as any other C class.
