misting/fogging is normally a sign that the car is wet inside somewhere ....

Not using it as a 'Passion Wagon' are you? as I recall in the annals of my distant memories that used to be one of the consequences :D

@Uncle Benz has advised he’s had quite a few A class with water leaks in the back behind the bumper. Shows up as damp rear foot wells.

If you have that then you’ll get misting up as the car warms up.

As per above use the AC (all the time) as it dries the air.

Also clean the screen (inside) as dust and grease make it worse.

Exactly this - aircon left on at all times is the best way to get rid of internal fogging

but if the car is wet inside, it'll need more than air con to stop the windows fogging. EmilysMum's car suffered from the drains in the wiper scuttle blocking and the carpet ended up soaking wet ..... it took days to dry out even when the carpet was lifted as best it could be & the weather at the time was fairly hot.

Yep , as above , clear the drains below the windscreen by shoving a hose pipe into the holes . Empty any leaves/sludge from the windscreen base and below the bonnet .
Leave aircon on all the time (maybe it's not working correctly from lack of use of needs a recharge ?)
Wait a week and see if that all works .
Obviously if carpets are wet now , that needs dealing with first .
Maybe apply gummipfledge (or silicone grease ) to all the door seals

If his profile is correct, this is a 2019 car so there shouldn’t be any problems with damp or rubber seals.

According to another thread the OP recently bought it new but not from a dealer? Has it been valeted too enthusiastically and the interior is still damp ?

There was an old trick (actually it was to stop internal freezing) - I used to do this on a van with no heater that I had donkey's years ago: Just wipe a smear of anti-freeze on the inside of the screen. Try a small patch first!

If you have a dehumidifier put that in the car to dry it out. See how much it gets and once it stops extracting water see if the problem goes away and returns. If it does your car has a leak somewhere and MB need to fix it.

Fix the cause, not the symptom ...
Condensation is bad news as it's present on electronics as well as glass.

I have an elderly Peugeot 206 and it was misting up terribly. Eventually realised that the rear windows weren't quite wound up tight. Corrected that and bought a bag of silicone (like the stuff they put inside packaging of TVs & phones) and left it on the dash. It completely solved the problem. Available on eBay or Amazon and wonderfully effective. You can pop it in the microwave to dry it out as necessary.
