I can use both of the above but when I switch to Cruise control it seems to be arbitrary whether it activates cruise control or speed limiter. Not a massive issue unless speed limiter is set at 30 and you try to put cruise control at 70. Is there a way of knowing which one you are selecting? I have received a blank from sales and can find videos on YouTube about either but not the issue I am having. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong but have no idea what. Any help appreciated. And yes. It's my first Mercedes so I'm still finding things out.

Thank you in advance

if you press the end of the stalk it will toggle from cruise to limiter to cruise etc. When limiter is selected you get an amber led showing :)

^What he said - except, of course, the LED is impossible to see behind the steering wheel!

Welcome to the forum and hope you are enjoying your GLC.

I know what you mean. I read the answer to my wife who said 'oh that's what that light is'. I was like, what light? But I'm glad I joined as I spent hours researching this which isn't on any video. But on the journey I've found out how to open and close all the windows for outside which again was a new thing for me!!!

Thank you for the warm welcome. I know where to come for help rather than the showroom. I'm glad I found you ladies and gentlemen.

Welcome.

The owners manual is also very useful and covers most questions asked on this forum......:):):) They are also available from MB in a phone APP, on line and downloadable PDFs. Depending on your model the manual is also on the COMAND system.

It's a lot easier to ask than wade through a manual .... ;)

I agree. I have been through the command manual in the car. It's as clear as mud at times.

Hi Rory,

I had been to a Mercedes Showroom and asked an expert, waded through YouTube videos with no success. Sometimes the best expert you can find is a forum of like minded people with more experience than you in owning a Mercedes. A lot of the times with apps you can go around in circles.

You learn all sorts of things "wading through the manual" the online version has "key wording", an index and a good search engine. Takes seconds to find information.

Simply pointing out what is available.

Sometimes you don't know what you're looking for to search for it .... ;)

Pretty sure that if you could describe it on a forum (especially operational features), you should be able to find it in one of the formats of the owners manual however, common sense is not very common these days.:);)

We are all different - I like to dig around for the answer / solution to a problem before I decide to ask for help.
