Hello members,

Had a stunning C350 CDI in for Stage 1 remapping.

While we let the car get rid of residual heat on the dyno while also running diagnostics and all of our pre checks on fluid levels, Dif, visual inspections, tyres, tyre condition and pressures etc.....

Equipped with the Bosch EDC17 CP10 management system which still requires in many cases for the ECU to be removed however the ECU does not need to be opened we can access on the bench.

Vehicle is stock form made right about what we had expected!

After many runs, logs and sweep tests with multiple tweaks to the software we gained an extra +76bhp and +217nm of torque.

That is some Torque figure!!!!
She responded fantastically!!! More than i could have hoped for and for its age was the lowest mileage one i have ever seen!

Hey guys,

How come you get such huge increases in torque - way more on the OM642 or C350/E350 than is stated on your website 'view tuning options' drop down, and more than other websites/tuners claim too.

Is it due to DPF removal and EGR bypass to get these numbers?

May not sound alot as stock is supposed to be 204 HP and 500 Nm torque ,
( I often think these manufacturer figures are engine out on a test rig ) .

GAD have a realistic / conservative dyno that won't give false willy wave , pub figures , so stock can initially be measured as low as 176 HP & 417 Nm .

What you will get is REAL !

Is it due to DPF removal and EGR bypass to get these numbers?

Good afternoon,

On our gains calculator we always give conservative numbers and hopefully over deliver on quoted figures! Also our dyno is a little on the "Honest" side. I have seen other brands of American Dynos like Dynojet give crazy figures! Like an M5 F10 doing 660bhp stock, or C63s 4.0 BiTurbo making 580bhp stock or even cases of BMW M3's which are booked at 425bhp marking nearly 500bhp Stock, so its down to a couple of things 1. Is the Dyno operator even using the system correctly? 2. American Interial based dynos read high.

Sure but most people are quoting increases of 55 BHP and 65nm torque on the 231BHP engine. You're getting almost 4x the torque quoted without EGR and DPF removal?

I'd love to be able to hit 300bhp/700nm in my 231bhp W212! I don't want to remove the DPF and EGR though, so that's why I'm asking if these figures are possible without doing that.

I drove my dad's 265bhp/620nm W212 and have gotten the itch!

Still tempted to get mine done , unfortunately oil cooler seals just eat my remap fund :( and my wheels really need doing!
