If police,camera action is to be believed, a scrote stole a moped, tore across an area of special scientific interest, crashed the ped into a parked car, legged it, got caught then the roundup at the end - he got his 96th caution ? And then some wonder why many of todays yoofs don't care if they get caught..
I would like to say he hit a ford ranger to keep on topic but he didn't...

High ground clearance vehs are the vehicle of choice, but here they will have a small 4 wheel low clearance level jack, 5 mins or less...job done.

Not quite, hybrids and low mileage vehicles are targetted as the CATS have more of the precious metals left inside them (less use means less depletion). High ground clearance is a factor but I've seen plenty photos of hybrids being jacked up in broad daylight/busy areas and the cat is gone in seconds.

Unfortunately this is very common especially on Transits/Rangers and the like. When i worked for Ford we used to get people come in to get a new spare wheel as these were also being cut off over night by some not so respectful members of society, frustrating to say the least.
