Hi all, looking for some information re my s350 , it seems water has been getting in to the blower motor, this in turn blew the SAM unit , the garage replaced the Sam unit , blower, blower control unit , actuator. But can’t seem to get the blower motor to function correctly, it runs constantly even with engine off key removed . The garage has washed their hands of it and I am now stuck with this situation and looking for help

Side stepping your question. Find decent merc indy.
Get shot of that last mechanic who clearly fleeced you out of a few bob and leave him a negative review on google.

Seems they have connected the blower to perm live. have you had a multimeter on the connections.

Are you sure they replaced the blower motor at all and with what brand.

When my SAM got wet I had the same problem with my blower. After fully drying out the SAM it was fine. Are you sure they have put a new SAM in? If so someone with more knowledge will be along soon.

if its a 221 sound like rubbish as the blower and the SAM are on opposite sides of the car
it does have the worlds most incompetent drainage setup that blocks and you may have buckets of water around the battery on the left and the brake reservoir on the right. Both are supposed to be bone dry. You need to regularly clean out the leaf litter that collects there

Yes the Sam and blower are on different sides but when the car shut down
I saw the Sam unit before I paid for car to transported to the Mercedes specialist, it had a hole the size of 5p burned into it
