Hi All,
I have just purchased a 2015 C350e. I went for the Premium Plus model and the car is stunning. I love it but the MPG is shocking at the moment.
The battery on a full charge only reports 11 miles but drops massively once i start moving and the petrol is only giving me between 20 and 30 MPG. This can't be right can it........??
I would love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks

Getting the e version could be the mistake. :D very nice cars but I feel mercedes just havent quite cracked the Hybrid technology. Never as economical as suggested. How many miles does the car have.?

Hi all, thanks for all the responses, it looks like this is about right then. The car is on a 65 plate with 62k on the clock. Really thought it would do better but i guess thats just not the case.
Thanks for the welcome guys.

What would the car return on a steady motorway run buddy ?

As I see it, the problem with any plug in hybrid is that the poor old petrol engine is not only moving the car but the weight of all the batteries which usually gave up contributing any benefit after the first few miles.

Edit... there was another thread along the same lines:
https://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/index.php?threads/hybrid-disappointment.173865/#post-1774688

Just had a read through this, i thought that it was just going to mention battery running until the end when he also mentioned he was getting 20mpg on the engine. It looks like this engine is ALOT more thirstier than Mercedes first claimed!
