...I buy Redex diesel additive (or whatever brand's on offer from Costco) and it's fairly cheap but each time I fill 'er up and put in a measure of it, I feel as though I'm looking after my engine... But every so often I wonder if I've fallen for a snake oil trick (?)
Mind you, the car's a lucky 13 years old (2007 S203 Estate/Auto) and I quietly admit to giving it some "welly" every now and then so with 103K-ish on the clock it feels nicely run in now. So at my age (mid 70's) it will probably survive me and the boss and depending how expensive diesel fuel gets, my guess is that one of the 5 x grandkids will then be happy to grab it and run it until it's finished!
Try some of this over redex , it won’t break the bank, and adds cetane to the diesel turning it into the premium stuff
