Much water in the boot?

Darn cheek

No, for your information.......It can be intermittent though, possibly needs new seals fitted, the main one across the bottom of the rear screen seems to not seal, tried Gummi-pflege to puff up the rubber :( towel laid across now :D

Drove her over Dartmoor from Tavy home via the twisty bits. High wind everywhere. Rain leaving Tavy, Snow & 0 oC Princetown (No wonder they lock em up there), Sun all the way home, Burrator reservoir full. Brooks at Sheep Tor full and still no Willy's ice cream van at Cadover Bridge yet. Maybe next week at half term. Still no traffic. didn't have to stop once on the single lane roads.:D:D:D:D

Been in for a few things after the rear suspension sensor rod packed in. Then got a wheel bearing done, a coolant hose which was on it's way out and new disks and pads on the front. That should do me for quite a while.

Just bought a CLK320 cabriolet :) (photos once I pick it up)

It’s going to be for Mrs FS. - haha red bow on it for valentines?

Super clean, one family owned, low miles, FSH, new MOT, pretty pleased with it.

(still can’t understand why heated seats aren’t standard on high end cabs)

Went for a Bit of a drive on snow covered roads, winter tyres working well :)

It’s been snowing and melting here all day but this evening it’s sitting on the road. Quite funny seeing 4x4’s crawling along with little grip...

I’ve been using winter tyres since 2010, I moved here in 2009 and couldn’t get anywhere in my E320 or VW Caravelle that winter. Traction control wouldn’t let either of them move. Turn it off and they’d just spin the wheels. I’ve been a convert since then.

I decided on them after getting stuck on a hill in Picardy a few years ago. Traction control stopping it then just spinning. I managed another winter then gave in after having them on my van

My service parts from Germany has arrived today via autodoc for my mercedes w124 m104 300TE-24 wagon!

Bosch brand fuel filter (goes next to fuel pump)

Vemo brand fuel filter (fitted to the Ke-Jetronic system under the air filter housing)

Bosch brand oil filter

TRW brand rear brake pads

Bosch brand spark plugs x 6

Mahle brand thermostat

Meyle brand fuel injector rubber holding plugs (to fitted into the plastic injector holder that sits into the manifold)

Bosch brand front and rear wipers

Stark brand pollen filters

Swag brand gearbox transmission oil filter with rubber seal.

Mahle brand air filter

Payen brand oil filter seal (I think this was a mistake, I thought the oil filter didn't come with a seal, it actually does in the box)

Swag brand rear differential hydraulic fluid

Vat oil brand dot 4 brake fluid

Swag brand power steering oil

Swag brand automatic transmission fluid.

£206.47 in total, not bad!

I just need engine oil and coolant to do a proper service! Tbh, as the car is low mileage over 80k miles, I really didn't service it, but I thought I should!

I am going to do this service at my brothers garage, so I am going to save alot of money on doing it myself and get my brother to do the tougher jobs.

I've been putting off washing the car for ages now always finding something better to do - usually going out to lunch. Today I made a concerted effort and.......went out for a late lunch again. 46 mile round trip later it was too dark to do anything yet again - apart from going out and walking the lunch off.. Maybe I should just leave it out for Dennis to have a go at the weekend...

Opened my boot lid and studied the rubbers, water trail and boot alignment and have come to the conclusion that the water seeps in between the boot lid and the rubber
