Booked in next Tuesday 18th for a re-map on my C207 cdi 350 265 bhp, at
DC Remapping in Warrington.
I know GAD or MSL seem to be the go to people on here,
but there so far away, so thought I'd give DC a go, they get great reviews, I've been to the premises they certainly look the part, and the chap I spoke to seemed to know what he was talking about.
They do the same as GAD or MSL, as in you arrive, it's put on the dyno for a full diagnostic check to see if the cars ok to be re-mapped, then a before dyno, then the bespoke re-map itself takes between 2 to 3
hours, to get it spot on, then an after dyno with printout.
He's quoting approximately 300 bhp and 700 NM so no silly claims. Price £325.

We'll see mercman, not a fortune wasted, if it turns out it isn't worth it, but what I've read about mapping the,
350 cdi on here it should be.

That is a small price to pay for a much more responsive motor with extra oomph when needed. Cost here in Oz over $1200 - now that IS a stinger.

I had mine done (same engine) in the same way Tony. Was also given the same figure for gains, but when they put it on the dyno the output was 277bhp and not 265bhp, after the map it was 303bhp. A smaller increase than I was expecting but a job well done none the less.

I think you will be able to notice a difference in your car. As our ML has the aerodynamics of a brick, it was not noticeable as much as I thought it would be, but definitely an improvement over standard.

Let me know how it goes Tony I might look at getting mine in although it is a E250. Iv heard these can get up to around 250bhp from 204bhp.

If it's a good and safe remap, then you will certainly notice the difference.

I brimmed the fuel tank and calculated that the miles driven and fuel used, it returned 41.99 mpg on the last tank, which is slightly more than it shows on the trip readout over the last 5,000 miles.

It is possible however to get it into the low 20's
