Hi
My E class estate 2014 is looking like it is leaking air ( sitting low at rear in the mornings).
Has anyone got any info on replacement airbags and how to install them

I had Arnott airbags fitted to the back of my R Class. I had each bag supplied & fitted for the price of each OE airbag ..... I took the easy way out & paid someone else.

Thanks Malcolm
Do you have any experience with fitting them?
I have done a quick search on the arnott bag's but unsure where to purchase them from their website does not seem to sell parts. Do you know who sells them?

Hey Ricky, do you definitely know it is the airbags? I’m unsure how the system works so may be a stupid question

I think member ‘Conor’ has done the job on his 212 so it would be worth sending him a message (you might not have access yet being a new member) or joining one of his threads there are a couple active at the moment

This video here gives a good idea what's entailed not that difficult when you're sure it's the airbag(s). This guy has a few videos on his repair and the mistakes he made.
I used this method but get some gas leak detector (better than soapy water) and squirt it around the system to find the leak, (on the one I did it was coming from around the electrical connector on the bag) or you could end up replacing good air bags.
Good luck.

A common leak point is where the pipes go over the rear subframe. They can chafe over time.
