Hello members,
Had a stunning CLS400 CGI in for Stage 1 remapping.
While we let the car get rid of residual heat on the dyno while also running diagnostics and all of our pre checks on fluid levels, Dif, visual inspections, tyres, tyre condition and pressures etc.....
The 400 CGI is the 3.5 Litre V6 Turbocharged petrol running the slightly rarer MED17.7.3.1 Management system in which there was no VR (Virtual Read) and required bench access. The ECU did not need to be opened up as we could access via the BETA version of the BSM (Bosch Service Mode) which supported this ECU.
This is the 4th car tuned for this customer last one being a Jag I do believe.
Made bang on stock power and torque was a little up from factory quoted.
What was interesting was that this is new to my customer but was one lady owner before and my god did the catalysts need a clear out! The cell for maybe 10-12 runs stank of eggs and cats as they had possibly only been given a hard time on our dyno but the smell went and the car loved it.
After many runs, logs and sweep tests with multiple tweaks to the software we gained an extra +88bhp and +252nm of torque which is fantastic!!!
Below are shots, plots and runs.

Many thanks
