Can you remap an EV?

You only have to watch Formula E to see how dull it is without the aural pleasure compared to F1.
Its the same with EV's. Yep, they are fast, they are the future, but exciting? Nah,nothing will persuade me, even that 2020 Tesla above. Then there is the cost of EV's , the range as shown in the above video, and lack of charging points.
Just as well for me I will no longer be driving when fossil fuels are confined to history.

I’m a dinosaur I’m afraid!
Nothing comes close to the wonderful rumble of a V8, from tickover to full beans, and ultimate speed doesn’t really matter (To me)

Threw out the rule book and built a car to fit no regulations.. just to be fast..
It is very hard to appreciate how quick it is without engine noise..
