Strangely my old car had them, this new one hasn't and it is an AMG Line 'Premium' model whereas the old one was just AMG line
It was an extra cost option on mine, not part of the Premium Plus package.

Not driven it after dark as yet but I am not sure that I will miss them anyway. They were a bit ponderous at times and were regularly getting confused with reflections from road signs

Never been to the motor show on a trade only day in the 70’s or 80’s then...:p:D
No, but plenty of Italian furniture shows which had much interesting talent- I presume the cut of your jib!

Nice little run out :p

Quite bizarre to be able to keep it pinned (national speed limits apply...) down the A43 past Silverstone on F1 GP day... don’t think that’s been possible in the last 40+ years...

My economy was over 37 until my bit of fun on the A43 :p:D

908F0A04-4ED0-412B-9764-06DBBE3E9ACA.jpeg Debadged one side of my boot today. Didn’t particularly want to, but part of the letter C had already departed, and who wants ‘bluetec’ on their car anyway? MB might as well put a ‘heated seats’ badge on the boot. It was easy enough to do, no hairdryer or heat gun needed, and as with a lot of things in life, I found the harder I rubbed, the quicker I got the job done.

Washed and Sonax yesterday. Wheels and tyres today and touch up a couple of chips. I still can’t walk past my windows without pausing for a look at it and I’ve had the shooting brake a month now!

Not a permanent fix but have you tried a Black Wax crayon on stone chips ? It looks much neater that a Touch in stick and far easier to do. It will wash out eventually but just re-touch in with the crayon. :)

How many miles is that now Dave?

1,376 with the 170 or so done yesterday Matt. Still struggling to put them on it and no plans for the foreseeable either, especially with us potentially going back into lockdown over this side. :(

I will be sneaking over to near Selby next weekend all being well to meet up with a mate or two. Having said that, I don't think I'll bother with the scoop as it's an overnighter so will probably take Larry the Lexus, which is also desperate for a run out.

That’s a good idea. I’m pretty deft with some tiny brushes I bought but I do like the idea of a quick fix! Thanks :)
