You can’t but you can take it for another test elsewhere
The chances of me actually finding someone who actually knows about them though in my area?

The first ones . The second set look like some old fuddy duddy would like them !

What you trying to say Wighty...... :p
Yes my choice too the first, as you say the second picture looks like the car it too big for the wheels, however the light blue car just looks so much bigger than the dark blue

First ones will be a darned sight easier to clean - part of the reason I changed the standard Elegance spec wheels on my S204 to 6 x twin spoke AMG rims similar to what's on the light blue car.!

Wheels off, wire brush calipers, brake cleaner, kurust... then caliper paint. I just couldn’t pretend they were ok anymore

Someone had re used the 10mm hex bolt holding the steering wheel in the boss. It was almost rounded out and pretty tight. Determined effort and got it out.
Now to fix the problem with the indicator not self cancelling and suspect the steering angle sensor has had it as the abs and “the other light” is on IMG_5968.jpg

Said goodbye to the light blue E Class :(
20201121_143656.jpg
Gone to a good home :)
Got to ride in the buyer's very nice remapped e320 cdi, what a car, I was very impressed with the performance. I told the Missus and she told me I could get a remap on my dark blue one .......And told me, 'when you have the money's
It's now going to be put on the to do list :)

Booked the E Class into my local Indy to check a few things, one of them is the left rear is now dropping as soon as I switch of the ignition, does rise again soon after restarting though.

Not today, but yesterday I decided to top-up the battery. I like to do this every few months and especially in the darker months as I only do short trips usually at night when the shops are quieter...

And talking of shops, here a rather dirty and miserable looking CLK sitting in strangely quiet Tesco Car Park....

That's a cracking colour combo.

Shopping and driving at night = way to go.

Interior is Leather Quartz.

Yes it is, called Almandine Black. Usually only found on S & SL's. Must have been a special order when new...???

If you look up that colour on Google you will see what I mean - with the one exception........ :D

Shopping at night at supermarkets is best I find - most very quiet!

IWI = I want it!!! I have the beads too. :):)

Changing ones life to night shift is a very, very bad idea Rodie, do not under any circumstances start telling people about it because they will be all at it!!

Washed with Dodo juice and dried off.
Cup of coffee then out with the Sonax BSD. Probably the last wash before Xmas now unless the Romanians are allowed to open again. I have some not far away who say they are proud to be entrusted with my car and treat it with great care. All for £6 plus tip!
Pics to follow later.

I know a bit "left field", but I received my "AA" Key Fobs today.

I've been a Gold Member for quite a while now and was bored so I was looking through what benefits I get as such. The one that definitely caught my attention was the Free Car Key & Lock Lock Insurance up to the value of £1500.00

So I called the AA, (you have to apply over the phone) a few days ago and the Key Fobs arrived today. The Fobs have to be attached to the Keys for it to be covered. My wife and I have Dual Membership so we get 2 Fobs (foc). Which is fortunate as the car came with 2 Keys. But obviously if you have 2 Cars then you put one on each.

It also covers a Hire Car, (up to 1600cc) if needed.

I never knew this so I'm wondering who here doesn't..... Really well worth it!! And the Fobs are made of quite nice and substantial material.

Anyway, I thought I would just mention it here - I hope that's ok?

I recently insured the SLK with GA via Comparethemeerkat and got their key cover for £5, previously it was insured with Highway (part of LV) via Chris Knott and that policy also included keyguard, I think Chris Knott provided it FOC!
