V Belt

Need to replace the above have checked the Russian parts list but it shows a number of different part numbers, so a bit of help please which one do I need?

WDB 210061A619211

Any tips for fitting same, have drawn the belt route but would appreciate best approach to relieving the tension.

Drive belt I know I shoud'nt have but I did. Its a 2001 E 220 cdi w210 model
Please help ! -I have taken belt off without drawing route belt seems too long but is same lenght as new belt

what size socket(?)for...

...taking the tension off the tension pulley and where does the 5mm 'pin' go to hold or stop the tension pulley from moving back whilst changing the belt?

You can see where the pin goes now, photos are so much quicker!

and far better at least you can see what you are supposed to be looking for, again many thanks for your assistance.

!7 mm 12 point, pin goes into hole just under the tensioner!

sorry to bother you again but just started to do the job and note that the swivel bolt is a six point and is no where near 17mm?:Oops:

Ok might be a tad bit differnt, if you look at the photo, above the pin to the left is where you would put a 17mm! is the one in the photo look the same!!

Ok might be a tad bit differnt, if you look at the photo, above the pin to the left is where you would put a 17mm! is the one in the photo look the same!!

The Tension pulley in the photo is the same as fitted to my motor. So I need a 17mm socket to fit that 12 point star 'nut' which appears to be an integral part of the housing. I was assuming that you put a 'male' driver into the centre of the actual pulley:Oops: I am going on the Removal/install instructions kindly sent by Malcolm which seems to show that is what you do.:shock:

The 12 point on the left above the pin "IS" for putting a 17mm 12 point socket on! If you wish to use the torx bit, wont be a prob, will both do the same thing, just most people only have sockets!
