S500L 2001, gone but, never forgotten
I was fast asleep, dreaming of tiling the bath with mosaic's, as one does, when it came too me, The tyres!!

In a previous post I have been banging on about the missing spare tyre etc, of course, when the solicitor told me that they, the tyres, have 7mm and that the spare was the same, and was a steel I was :confused:

My car was put through an MOT's and the tyres that were on it were under the limit/f****d, so, the obvious answer, the tyres have been changed!
No wonder MB refused an Inspection, I have an Independent record of their maker and tread depth, now the question is;

My S500L, 2001 had the upgrade alloys, five spoke(?) would the spare be, a full size alloy? A steel, a space saver?

All comments will be gratefully accepted and, of, course, not used in any way
that would bring this Forum or its Members into dis-repute.

Know I know why MB have vehemently refused an Inspection and just want me to drive the car away, XXXXXXXXXX!

Revenge is a dish best served cold and I have been waiting a long, long time for the dish too cool down.:mad:

The car is only made to accept one type of spare wheel, and many in the range do not have one anymore

Thank you everybody!

On page 61 of the S Class brochure it shows four types of wheels, the bottom right looks like mine, but, without the AMG logo.

I understand that these are the "upgrade" alloys, on an S class!

From reading the brochure, my car had quite a few extras!
