Hi, first time post from a new MB owner so be gentle on me!
I have recently bought me & the wife a 230 slk on a 52 plate for a weekend car just for a bit of fun.
Obviously being 7 years old it is by no means perfect but overall i'm verry happy with it.
There are a few minor rust spots behind rubber trims & under the bonnet lid but nothing too serious if treated sooner rather than later.
One thing i would appreciate some advice regarding is the boot lid, it appears to sit too low to the point that where it has been closed with too much force it has touched the bumper chipping a corner of paint on each corner of the bottom of the boot & marking the bumper at the point of contact.
Is there adjustment in the boot so that i could lift it fractionally? I can see a number of T30 torx screws which may or may not be what i'm looking for but i dont want too wade in bearing in mind the whole retracting roof assembly may be affected.
I would appreciate any advice thanks guys
