having cleaned all the fuses, replaced window regulator (comfort diode) all widows were working fine, however! just noticed the passenger door window will not function, stangely though you can hear an audible clicking sound, whilst driving and parked, the key is in either position one (1) or two (2) the sound is definate, as though something wants to happen but hothing! i dont think its anything serious cause they were all working before, any ideas lads?

yes malcolm, its in the door.

I think that you must take off the liner and check the motor as it appears to be stuck,,a clout with a mallet may free it off, the motor that is

thanks malcom, im glad you said the motor! is that what you think it is, mind you, sounds logical, because the clicking does sound as though something is trying to work, ive never had to take a door card/trim off anything to watch out for? also an additional quickie is the torque setting for the 420/126 the same at 110nm? ive just got some cracking original wheels.

I may have some door card removal instruction,,and I will post back,,the main thing is not to damage the card where the clips hold it on.

Yes the 110 is correct for your nice wheels

The principle is the same,,as before when you prise off the clips,,make sure that you lever the clip and not the card,,the clips cost peanuts if they break

II use a special flat blade with a V cut in the end that goes over the plastic clip

good idea, like a 2" wide scraper with the "V" spread the load and the preasure, nice one.

Thats correct, the V goes into the round clip and pulls it from each side,,they are sold for around £5
