Some very clever ones in there - except the one that looked like a wooden garage door

What a fantastic idea. I would be tempted with the jet.

I was thinking of building a kit plane a couple of years ago. Once built, you can keep them trailered at home. I always quite fancied seeing the looks on passing faces having an aircraft parked on my drive.

No 1 for me as I live across the road from the marina and most of my neighbours have a boat of some kind .

You could not do better if you had a Silver Back on your garage door;)

I was in berlin some time back and a lovely large building was having work done, fuly scaffolded and covered in tarpaulins. Thing was the tarps had a picture of the building they were covering on them !
Must be a german thing.

I've seen that in Glasgow too last year. Had to take a second look.

Going back more than a few years we were working on a job alongside the perimeter fence of Filton aircraft factory, Just inside the fence was the adandoned prototype mock up of the Concord droop snoot. We did consider offering to take it off their hands and one suggestion was to mount it sticking out of the garage doors and have a recording of RR Olympus engines running up.
