I've got an ongoing problem with the MFD on my Vito, in fact I brought this problem up with the stealership the first week I had the van & they told me it was normal.....the van is now 6 yrs old & the display is now so dim you can't see it at all during the day, particularly bad when it has got hot in the Sun!

The only time I can read it now is at night!

Does anyone know where I can buy a replacement & the procedure for removal & replacement.
I'm sure I can't be the only Vito owner suffering this problem as I noticed on a US forum that some owners are bringing a Class Action law suit against Mercedes for the same problem that is occurring in saloon cars over there!!

Vito's are screwed in , 2 screws top of instrument housing .

Have you checked that the bulbs (little capless or peanut bulbs on back of instrument housing) are working , again very easy to do. UNABLE TO READ THE DISPLAY IN BRIGHT SUNLIGHT USUALLY MEANS THE BULBS HAVE FAILED .
