After all correction was complete I then went around vehicle with Megs 205 on a megs finishing pad. Dodo LPL was then applied by hand to vehicle in preparation for 2 coats of Dodo Supernatural. Tyres wer dressed with Zaino Z16 and arches dressed with Megs ASD. All chrome was polished using Brillant metal polishes

Plastic window polished with SV Vinyl Clear kit- right side treated

Roof was then cleaned and protected with 303

The interior needed some work as leather was a bit worn and faded, sun visors were badly scuffed in places. Someone tried to fix a few scuffs but didnt blend the colours well so this was addressed. Both seats, sun visors, center console and lower half of dash were all done

Looks very impressive.

However, a question.

Are the swirls just filled to even them out ?

I would be interested how long that good finish lasts, particularily after you next wash the car.

Give us some feedback in a few months/year time.

Very impressive.
As an owner of an '89 SL500 I would be interested in how much this cost, preferably broken down to show paint separate from interior.

What is '303' by the way?

Not seeing any prices anywhere. Even an hourly rate would be helpful.

Still no idea of cost!!!:rolleyes::confused:

Are we to conclude that it's so expensive that to provide any hint would scare us all off??!!

I'm trying to show interest in the service.

We give praise where it is due,,and this is one of those times,, when you think that it can take 20 years for the car to get to the state that they are in, the owners do not notice until you show what can be done

the swirls are not filled!!! the paint or lacquer is re-leveled using different compounds/polishes and a machine polisher.

The finish lasts as long as it's kept clean and new layers of wax/sealant are applied every so often and its washed correctly.

A trip or 2 to the local corner hand wash would see it back to square one almost!!!

303 is a brand which I use to clean and protect convertible tops and interiors
