Hi guys.
I was driving along today in the sunshine when just ahead I saw a cloud of dust created by the farmer in his field. I thought how convient it would be to have a swithch on the dash that was connected to the 'comfort control' that would close all the windows and roof in one operation before all the dust fills up inside:mad:! My question, is it possible? has anyone ever done it? I'm sure another facia with an extra cut out along the top row could be sourced on Ebay along with a window switch. Could the wiring be picked up from the door key switch? Be nice to do it on both my cars as they both have comfort.:D
Any thoughts.;)

Great idea, although it would be nicer still to be able to use the remote when opening the car to open all windows and roof in one go, I'm not sure why they didnt put this in as on a nice sunny day it is certainly inconvenient to have to press the 5 switches individually.

maybe another button could be wired in this way also?

The loading on the wires would be to much the way that this car is wired

Thanks again Malcome, the 5 speed box adjustments in another thread are for me.
I'm not doubting your knowledge at all, but if the wires from the door lock do it, can't they just be be extended to a second switch? I've read many of your posts and been impressed with your knowledge. Me being an idiot thought just extend the wires and hey-presto!!
Enjoy the show, too far & no time for me.

Cars are wired these day so that they receive comands.

I do have all of the circuits for the comfort pack and I will take a look,,they are all relays and it could overload the system if they all closed at once

Don't think you are Malcom. With the engine running and using the other key in the door, the central locking works fine but nothing with the 'comfort'. The ignition must switch it off as it does the alarm system. Anyway, I thought it was a good idea! Unless there are any thoughts otherwise out there!
