Hello Jet Tech, No, not track racing :)
I will go back into it one day, but I shall use a petrol engine for that not my CDi :)

I had to replace a few bits anyway, didn’t like the way a small disc and ugly Caliper looked behind my wheels. So I decided to spend a little more and (attempt) to fit AMG or sports pack gear. More cosmetic then energy transfer! (Tart :) )

I'm sure a lot of members will think this is pointless boy racer stuff and a Merc should be left as designer intended! (Or that I should just buy a C32AMG in the first place! That’s an argument for another post....) But some members have been amazingly helpful, thank you.

Sorry to double post, I was in a spot of bother! Although, I think all problems are now solved.
Cheers.

Type49.
I used remanufactured calipers by BUDWEG, however, I later found that the better option would have been:
MB (brembo 4 pot) AMG Brake calipers for a 2002 C32 AMG saloon,
Left A002 420 1983 £212+vat
Right A002 420 20 83 £212+vat
£487.60 all in from MB dealers.
Discs, ATE from euro car parts £80 each including vat, MB items are £80+VAT. Do not use any thing cheap, I warped a set of cheap ones in a month.
I used EBC pads at £75odd quid, just for the reduced brake dust.
Not a bad price for a brake upgrade, something from AP or Tarrox would be £1200+.
I have done about 4000 miles now with this lot fitted, all OK :)

None at the monent, but there's an OM642 in the Jeep Grand Cherokee!
I hope you informed your insurance company of the modifications

Extra Parts to order

Extra note, The pad pins and springs that came with the Budweg caliper are not very good.
The springs feel so weak and the pins are not a tight fit (The wobble I was getting under braking from the Warped disc had shaken one pin loose)
Order original MB bits A001 991 51 60 (x2) and A421 98 91 (x2) £26.50. Had to come from Germany. Much better parts, excellent fit (obviously!)

Best photo of the set up I could find.....
