Got problems Rob????

Wel SAM, Yesterday, it was sunny here in the afternoon. I have put the lamps on automatic then I have seen the dashboard lamps showing that the main lamps were on! Today I did not drive the car but tomorrow I will see if it was an incident or maybe some thing wrong!

These things can be temperamental when the sun is low ion the sky owing to the angle the light hits the sensor,,you can always turn them off

Well Sam, forgive me if it is a silly question: Can I do the adjustment myself from the computer of the car or it must be taken to the dealer?

Thanks & regards,

Robert

Got problems Rob????

Sorry to jump in on this one, but I have a similar problem on My 05 W220, also the mirrors dim for no apparrent reason (No headlights or low sun behind or in front of me).

As I'm on free servicing at MB I asked the question at the last service but they could not find a fault and told me they had reset the sensitivity with star but it's still the same.

Any ideas please Cole???

Well Sam & Malcolm, I can conclude from the discussion in the forum that you in the UK are having many good MB dealers/Indies which we miss here in Holland. Don’t be shocked if I tell you that I always service my car in Germany! It is better more reliable and cheaper as well! If you know any good address here in Holland will be great!
