Hi guys,

I'm hoping for some advice from some of you knowledgable enthusiasts

It's unfortunately time to sell my pride and joy for a more suitable family car.

The exterior and interior of the car are in fantastic condition (see photo) but I do have a problem with the gear box. The gearbox (5 speed auto) slips in low gears and does loose gearbox oil. Having tried replacing the bottom seal without success my local Mercedes specialists say that a new or reconditioned gearbox is now the only option. At £1,500 this is possibly more than the car is worth so I am considering just selling as is?

Does anybody have any suggestions on where's best to get the best price and hopefully find her a home to be fixed and run as opposed to scrapped for parts?

Many thanks
