W211 Thrust and spring links

At my last service at my stealership I was advised that Thrust link part number 33142101 on the front axle, both Spring links part number 35783601 and Torque strut bearing number 33142501 needed replacing at a cost of £731. Can anyone provide me with a front suspension drawing showing the parts referred to. Also any info on replacement procedures. Any suggestions for reasonably priced parts suppliers. Many thanks in anticipation.

Thanks for the replies. I'll have a look on the site you gave Malcolm but I don't know what I'm looking for as I only have those numbers from the report sheet.

I'm afraid I misled you with the part nos. by quoting the labour charge codes which are:-
33142101 Thrust link (1) on front axle replace
35783601 Spring links (both) on rear axle remove/install, replace if necessary 9With both wheels removed)
33142501 Bearing on one torque strut replace
The quoted part nos. are
MA211 333 29 14 01020504 Beaqring 1unit
MA211 330 44 11 01020601 Thrust arm unit1
MA211 350 18 06 N/Stock control arm units 2
I hope these details are of use and I apologise for my Senior moment. Thanks again

Ok cool now it becomes clear. The torque arm bush is fine as its probably split but they are trying to rip you off with the bearing on the strut replace because the time to replace the torque arm includes the time to replace the bush.

Not too sure about the spring links (these are at the rear) because all my years working on mercs i have never replaced or seen these being replace or the bushes come to think of it

get a second opinion, or take back to the dealer who gave you the quote and ask him to show you on the car what needs replacing
If your expected to part with best part of 750 smackers its not an unreasonable request
