In case you are a bit puzzled by the replies - do a search on re-mapping on here you will find long varied and sometimes heated discussions on the merits or otherwise of re-mapping your Mercedes.
Have a read through (if you have a couple of spare hours) and you should be either convinced :D or more likely thoroughly confused
Please keep us informed of what you decide.
Dave.

ML270 Remap Apology

Ooops!!! I think I might have said the wrong thing. Sorry about that. My only experience of remaps is with Land Rovers and they work very well. perhaps not so with Mercs. I'll read the threads.

Re-Map ML 270

Just bought my first Mercedes Benz. My last 4x4 was a Disco which I had remapped and it went very well. Anyone any experience of remapping a ML270and if so who would you recommend.

I had a Tunit unit fitted to an ML 270 and it was quite good, and it pulled my caravan better.
I also had an ML 270 Re-Mapped and and that was even better, I would recomend either but the Re-Map is about £150 dearer than the Tunit which I think from memory cost about £380 to £400.
I sent off the Tunit unit and had it re-done for my Jaguar Twin Turbo 2.7 Diesel Sport S Type and I get it back this week.
The cost of the rework and new loom for the jag was £76.00 all inc.

To answer your question YES in a big way do it.

Regards.

Mike
