after being advised copper fuses are a worthwhile improvement over the nasty aluminium ones I had a good search - but can't find a stockist!
Does anyone have a link?

The most important thing is to get the ceramic fuses,,so much better than the new plastic versions

More interested in copper to copper contact tbh - what's the problem with plastic bodies?:confused:

They get hot and shrink,,arcing takes place and they get hotter still

aaah... yep guess if its hot enough to melt the metal.....messy too!
