Its the complete history of, well, alot of companies now called Daimler AG.

Its very interesting but my god the motor industry is inbred!

So far we are in the early 1920's.

Geottlieb Daimler has passed away and his son Paul has just "bullied" Willhelm Maybach out of Daimler and into business with Count Zepplin, overseeing the production of his aero engines.

Austro-Daimler has outsourced its engine production to a small engine manufacturer, which it now owns, called BMW.

Adolf Daimler has moved from Austro-Daimler to be Manager of Factories in Daimler allowing his assistant, Ferdinand Porche, to become head of engineering at Austro-Daimler.

Herr Jellinek (his daughter is Mercedes and Daimler is selling its cars using her name) has been sacked for claiming that their cars are all based on his designs.

It looks like a merger is imminent.

Oh and it turns out Henry Ford was an engineer at Buick.

Anymore inter-relationships?

Showing my lack of age, but why does my old man keep going on about Daimler Jaguars?
