Don't want to be over negative with a supporter of the forum, but I think this has been touched on in earlier posts - your premiums are way, way higher than your competition and as yet, I've not seen a single justification for that.

Sorry ;)

And they do what other dodgy companies do. Quote a really high price and if you don't take it, you get bombarded with calls offering you "special promotions". A bit like dodgy vacuum salesmen?

I have had a quote from them.... really expensive so did not chose to buy.... and yes as stated you do get several "communications"... offering "discounts" which do not really make the policy attractive or value for money.

Hi guys

Thanks for the feedback. In order for us to attempt to deal with this would it be possible for any of you to private message the quote comparisons you've had? It would greatly assisit in our continual improvement, as customer feedback is of paramount importance.

Thanks

I'm currently looking out taking out a warranty for my car so was interested in this post and I would bear out the other posters reply.

I've just filled in the details on your website and received a quote from Warrantywise for £905 compared to £550 with Warranty Direct.

Was this a like-for-like quote? Please bear in mind the online system quotes you on the highest level of cover available for your cars age and mileage

Many Thanks

Quote from Warranty direct apparently includes the following:-

Extracare level of cover
No wear and tear exclusion?
No consequential loss exclusion?
they cover failures found in an annual service or MOT?
they cover the cost of diagnostics?
No overheating exclusion?
And they guarantee 100% of the hourly labour rate?

Warranty Direct guarantee all of the above.
(I've just cut and pasted from their quote)

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!:lol::lol:

Just thought I'd try you for a quote:

Really? A 2004 CLK? £762 a year? And only £50ph labour. Are you actually trying to buy the bl**dy car?

In current internet words: massive fail!

Which level was our quote based on? Have you still got the quote?

Holy cow - you're quick off the mark - less than 10 minutes after getting a quote and there's the phone call from you to offer a special promotion price.

This is a very good price for your car. For the highest level of cover in the UK. Imagine if your engine was to have a major problem for example, you'd be looking to pay a lot more than the yearly plan cost you have been quoted. Your car is almost 10 years old and I imagine with the labour rate quoted over 60,000 miles. The risk of these problems occuring inevitbaly increases as your car ages and accrues more miles.

We'd hope you'd consider what you're actually paying for in terms of peace of mind and cover for your cars potential mechanical and electrical failures.

As always we are here for any queries you may have

Thanks

The call will have been given to offer you an information pack, not to offer you a special promotion price. Also, if it is noted on the quote that it has come from a customer who is a member of one of our owners clubs, we will be looking to see if they wan't to activate their promotional code.

Thanks

Click 'view quote' on the email you will have received to re-launch the quote. It will tell you the level of cover at the top of the page under the heading 'choose and customise your plan' - Box number 1

This interchange is what puts me off
"Was this our 06/60, 08/80 or 10/100 cover"
Before you write "its too offer our customers a range of cover etc etc",
It still sends me running to the hills screaming.
Once a large customer base is built up the business can become highly profitable like most Insurance.
The problem to most of us is we understand the arguments of peace of mind etc but the complication of wading through endless small print for the exclusions coupled with the relatively high initial cost is not attractive.
The market needs a much "cleaner" product with attractive pricing.
