4th/5th gear microswitch replacement

Hello All,

I intend to replace this switch on my w124.051 this weekend. Are there any difficulties getting to this switch? I have never dismantled anything in the gear lever area before.

Anyone got any pictures?

Yes of coarse electric 5th its 80 in the picture,,, there maybe some instructions in WIS but I cannot look till later in the day,its right on the end so could be easy

Yes, that's the boy.

I've replaced it and it was easier than I feared.

4th/5th control now back to original, a worthwhile hour in the garden!

Thanks again, Telly, for your interest and I hope this might prove useful to others - the part was around 25 Euro plus 1 hour of effort.
