W211 E55K battery location?

Hi All,

Just curious but i read on the CLS55 AMG the battery is in a compartment under the spare wheel well, is it the same on my car? (2004 E55 W211)

Yes!!!!!

Your have to remove two white plastic twist bolts at the rear to remove the lower trim full......

I will say yes,,, mine is in the same place but it looks non to easy to get to it

Will be disconnecting next weekend due to some exhaust mods...does my car have an hotel battery (backup), i take it if i disconnect the main battery this will be ok for isolation?

Also how do i re-set my windows and sunroof after re-connection?

You have a battery up front as well for the SBC, big rear battery off first, then the front one.

Connect small one first, then large

To set windows and roof

Turn key to ignition on
Raise each window in turn on the slow lift, when closed hold the switch for 5 seconds, do them all the same and the roof if it has one.

When you drive away the ESP lamp will go out
