Hi guys has anybody tried a Bosch Aerotwin wiper blade on a 210? I seem to get the impression that 600m or approximatley 24" is the size to go for, however this is just short of the normal blade at 25" approximately, has anybody tried the 650 mm 26" ones?

Much appreciated.

What you must check is from the center where it clips on to the highest end, too long there and it will hit the A pillar

LOL funny, I do have the standard Mercedes one, I was having a discussion (more like an argument) with my friends at work saying that the single wiper blade is superior to their "common" 2 blade system lol, and when they looked at my wiper, they told me I should get the Aeroblade wiper and that's how I started looking at the Aerotwin from Bosch lol.

P.S. The two blades on the W211 is putting me off an E55k lol (only joking can't afford it , yet!)

When I had my W210 I tried some non-Bosch makes and gave up. Due to the wiping pattern, if the blade has any movement along the axis of the wiper arm when fitted it'll drive you mad when it rains, as you'll get a knocking noise 4 times per wipe as the arm sweeps across the screen.

+1 on the silencio, terrific in anything other than heavy storms where just a bit of scrape on the bottom of the screen sneaks in.....

I ended up buying a Bosch AeroTwin as I can get them cheaper than usual, I bought 2 of them one as a 24" and one as 26" just as an experiment. The 26" is way to big lol, the 24" does not reach as far as the standard Bosch wipers. They are quieter and wipe better but on the far edges they don't really have that much impact. I will write up a forum post on my findings later, its about time I contributed lol, also have a few other bits and bobs that I want to put on the forums.
