Hi all

Does anyone know if i can get these for a CL-500 and a CLK 200? Ive just been told by Dartford Mercedes that they are not universal, dont fit 2002 CL and only a possibility of them fitting a CLK.

Cheers

Strange...I'd have thought that if you have a metal key (for emergencies) then these would fit any MB built in the last 20 or so years.

Thanks again! £3.84 for 2, and yes they do fit both vehicles !

Not overly impressed, as i stood for 25 minutes (seemed like an hour) at Dartford Mercedes parts department desk, waiting to be seen too, while 8 Mercedes branded employees walked round desperately trying not to make eye contact.

That must be the most expensive bit of plastic ever made, but if it saves the lock so be it

To stop the locks freezing in winter Lyn. Then when the remote packs up they can still get in the car.

and also stops dirt getting in. Particularly in the boot lock which gets a lot of kicked up spray and grit:cool:

Don't forget to add attach a piece of bright coloured string.
I can just imagine all the fumbling around with knives and screwdrivers trying to pop them out when all iced over :)

Also bright coloured string will help you find them in the snow :)
