Hello All,
I've just bought a year 1999 w140 320 LWB. I already have an older 1996 w140 320 LWB which I am going to sell.
As you can tell, I'm a real w140 fan. I'm planning on re-spraying my new w140 in jet black, with tinted windows as I think that the w140 (as cool as it is) looks even more cooler in all black. It'll cost me a few £££s but I'm prepared for it as the w140 in my opinion is the best looking car in the world!
I intend to post pics once it's all done.....
I have a question?
I wanted to substitute the alloy wheels from the old car to the new one and vice versa but, my mechanic mentioned that it may not be possible due to offset's, etc, Both alloy wheels in both cars are 16 inch. The tyre sizes in the newer car are 235/60/16 whilst in the older car the tyres are sized at 225/55/16.
I thought that this should be a straight swap.
Am I missing something here?
Thanks in advance.
