I have an 2002 E320CDI. estate. When I turn a sharp corner the central locking unlocks the doors and the interior lights switch on and off. Any ideas where I should start to look for and solve the problem?

Door switch?

you mean the courtesy light switch or the vacumn locking system? The central locking system operates correctly at all other times. Is the central locking system designed to open the locks if the car rolls?

No, the door pin switch which determines is the door open or not. I believe switch now detects open door while cornering (The switch is now on the edge by triggering), and that opens door locks and puts interior light on.

If you have the engine running can you activate the interior lamp by trying to push a door open, without using the door release handle?

It could be a switch or it could be that the lock plate needs adjustment.
