It does not have a single extra at all :( the mileage is 83k, I paid £25k 3 months ago for a car with everything possible and 38k miles, the colour of the inside on this one in the add is pretty horrible

There must be a rarity value in the Germanite/Cognac Brown combo.

I thought the interior was the car's best feature!

There must be more blank switches in there than the ones that do some thing

I think the interior colour looks ok and probably much better when seeing it in reality. Not sure how what extra's are really desirable on these but I doubt they are poverty spec as standard.

Most have a few things like
Keyless go
comfort seats
Distronic plus

Some of the better equipped ones have
AMG styling
HK sound
Night vision
TV
Parking guidance
Rear blind
Ambient lighting
Double cup holder
Powered rear head rest
Tyre pressure monitoring

That can be attached to the rear head rest, but you have to open your own mouth;)

I agree with most people - the interior is vulgar. Brown is usually nice for cars but this shade is just horrible. Also, not enough equipment for a CL.

They'll be £10k next year.

CLs always suffer from nightmare depreciation.

It has a limited market, £99k new mine was and 5 years old down to £25k, but not that different to the 230 or 221 S class. I bought my SL in 2006 at 4 years old and 18k miles, that cost £92k for £40k, and indeed most 2008 CL's are still just under £30 that are worth buying.

R230 SLs seem to be depreciating far faster than 129s did.

I fear the days of MBs being special used cars are long over, scrap at 10 years old like everything else.

I have noticed and commented on the rate that all these cars are falling these last couple of years, and yes the 129 still does quite well until the last couple of years, another 10 years and I will be scrap too;);)
